Journal of Online Genealogy   - Here's a site you'll want to "bookmark" or add to your "favorite places" list so you can return regularly. The Journal of Online Genealogy (JOG) had its debut in July 1996, and features nationally known contributors including Brian Mavrogeorge, Mike St. Clair, and John Wylie. JOG's stated mission is "to aid the genealogy community in promoting and developing online projects, technologies, and methods of research." In selecting JOG as the Cool Site, we anticipate that the Journal will focus ongoing attention on the best of genealogy on the Internet. Each issue will contain regular columns, such as Advanced Projects, Beginner Avenues, GENTECH Column, International Efforts, New Online Sites, Society News, and Software Trends.
