-"The Museum of Antiquities is the joint museum of the Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle upon Tyne and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. It is the principal museum of archaeology in north east England. Its visitors are those who wish to know more about the history of the region, especially Hadrian's Wall and the Roman  frontier. It has a renowned collection of artifacts, models and archives relating to the Wall, and a full-scale reconstruction of the Temple to Mithras at Carrawburgh. "The Nautical Archaeology Program at Texas A&M has investigated the issues of humankind's relationship with watercraft and waterways since 1976 when the Institute of Nautical  Archaeology became affiliated with the University. The Nautical Archaeology Program's faculty and students conduct research and study in areas all over the world, delving into time periods from prehistory to the recent past and working with a plethora of societies and cultures."--site.
- "The National Anthropological Archives collects and preserves historical and contemporary anthropological materials that document the world's cultures and the history of the discipline. Its collections represent the four fields of anthropology – ethnology, linguistics, archaeology, and physical anthropology – and include manuscripts, field notes, correspondence, photographs, maps, sound recordings, film and video created by Smithsonian anthropologists and other preeminent scholars.  The collections include the Smithsonian's earliest attempts to document North American Indian cultures (begun in 1846 under Joseph Henry) and the research reports and records of the Bureau of American Ethnology (1879-1964), the U.S. National Museum's Division of Ethnology, its Division of Physical Anthropology, and River Basin Survey archaeology. -Located at Harvard University, the Peabody is a research treasure for archaeology and ethnology.
 -"Perseus is a continually growing digital library of resources for studying the ancient world. The library's materials include ancient texts and translations, philological tools, maps, extensively illustrated art catalogs, and secondary essays on topics like vase painting. A collaborative team from a number of academic institutions has worked together to amass Perseus materials. Over 70 museums have shared pictures of their art objects."
